Egy sikeres alkotó és intézményvezető portréja

Gianina Cărbunariu, a Karácsonkői Ifjúsági Színház (Piatra Neamţ) igazgatójával Jászay Tamás színikritikus, egyetemi oktató, a Revizor - a kritikai portál főszerkesztője beszélget

Gianina Cărbunariu neve nem csak szakmai berkekben cseng ismerősen, hiszen számos drámáját - Tigris, mady-baby.edu, Stop the tempo, 20/20 - mutatták be Magyarországon, illetve rendezéseit is láthatta a hazai közönség. 

Cărbunariu a  fiatal román drámaíró- és rendező nemzedék egyik legismertebb és legelismertebb személyisége, a dramAcum műhely egyik alapítója. Munkáiban a jelen és a közelmúlt eseményei, társadalmi, közéleti, politikai jelenségei kerülnek górcső alá. Munkamódszerére a dokumentarista és a kollaboratív színházi eszközök jellemzőek, alakjai pedig leginkább fiatalok, az ő tekintetükön keresztül irányítja a figyelmet fontos kérdésekre. Társadalomkritikus szövegeiben fontos a humor és az irónia, munkáiban az elfogadott narratívák helyébe a többnézőpontúság és töredékesség lép.

A karácsonkői születésű alkotó 2017 óta vezeti a 1967 óta ifjúsági színházkén működő Karácsonkői Színházat (Teatrul Tineretului Piatra Neamț).

Gianina Cărbunariu május 20-án délután és 21-én workshopot tart a Mentor Műhely keretében a résztvevő fiataloknak és a Dante Casino formáció tagjainak.

Renown Theatremaker and the director of Piatra Neamţ Youth Theatre, Gianina Cărbunariu - in conversation with Tamás Jászay

Gianina Cărbunariu is one of the best-known figures of the young Romanian playwriting and directing generation. She is one of the founders of the dramAcum movement that ‘revived’ Romanian theatre in the early 2000s. Her name is well known in Hungary as several of her plays, like Tiger, mady-baby.edu, Stop the tempo or 20/20 have been presented on Hungarian stages.

Cărbunariu’s work focuses on the present and recent past, on social, public and political phenomena. Her approach is documentary, her working method collaborative. Her characters are often young people, and Cărbunariu directs the audience’s attention through their eyes. Humour and irony are important in her works, that questions dominant narratives with a multi-focused, fragmented reading.

Born in Piatra Neamț, Romania. Since 2017 she has been running the Teatrul Tineretului (Youth Theatre) Piatra Neamț.

On 20-21 May, Gianina Cărbunariu will hold a workshop for young aspiring and up-and-coming theatremakers: participants of the Mentor Műhely and members of Dante Casino.
 

The programme is realised in the framework of the CSET FEST with the support of the 10th Theatre Olympics.
